Big news: Gavel and Quill has officially transformed. What started as a local coworking space in Bellefonte is now something much bigger—and we’re excited to share what’s next.
🚀 From Coworking to Startup Building
While we loved offering shared desks and free coffee chats, we realized our biggest impact wasn’t in giving people a place to sit—it was in helping them start meaningful, world-changing work.
So we made a big pivot.
Gavel and Quill is now a startup incubator and professional services firm. That means we:
-
Start our own ventures that tackle major issues like climate change and sustainable tech
-
Help other founders build better products, reach customers faster, and avoid common startup traps
-
Offer services like software development, business strategy, and go-to-market support for purpose-driven projects
🌍 Our Mission: Build Startups That Matter
We believe the world doesn’t need more social media clones or get-rich-quick apps.
Instead, we’re focusing on real problems—like carbon reduction, responsible finance, and technology that helps the planet thrive.
Our mission is simple:
Reduce the failure rate of early-stage ventures—while increasing their positive impact on the world.
We do this by combining:
-
Customer discovery (talking to real people before we build anything)
-
Lean product design
-
A focus on social and environmental responsibility
